What is SENTINEL AI and how does it help me?

SENTINEL is your next-generation AI clinical assistant. It automatically has access to the patient's complete medical history (visits, allergies, studies) and helps you with differential diagnoses, treatment suggestions, and lab analysis. It's like having a senior colleague available 24/7 who already knows every one of your patients.

What are Sentinel Insights?

They're automatic clinical alerts that appear the moment you open a patient's chart. SENTINEL analyzes their entire history (visits, studies, allergies) and instantly surfaces what matters: abnormal lab values, current medications, active allergies, and important follow-ups. It's like having an executive summary of every patient without spending hours reading hundreds of pages of records.

Does MedicAI send automatic WhatsApp reminders?

Yes. MedicAI sends automatic appointment reminders through two channels. Email reminders are free and included in every plan. WhatsApp reminders are a paid add-on, contracted per practitioner from within the app: ARS $19,900 + VAT per month with a quota of 200 monthly messages, or ARS $29,900 + VAT per month with a quota of 400. Every organization can also try it at no cost with a one-time courtesy of 25 messages.

Is it legal to use AI with patient data?

Yes. MedicAI runs a PHI-Zero anonymization pipeline for Sentinel: identifying data (names, ID numbers, addresses) is stripped from the text before it's processed. Google never trains its models on this data. Every query is captured in an immutable log. Uploading identifiable patient data into generic AI tools, by contrast, exposes the doctor to violations of Ley 25.326 (Argentina's data-protection law).

What statistics does MedicAI give me about my practice?

MedicAI turns your day-to-day activity into clear metrics: monthly revenue (invoiced, insurance, and cash), appointment and new-patient trends, demand by insurer, and your top-billed services. Everything updates on its own, without you filling in a single spreadsheet.

What does “Immutable History” mean and why does it matter?

Every action in the system (visits, invoices, edits) is recorded permanently for 15 years. No one can delete or alter these records. It's your legal backup against any audit or patient claim.

Who can see my billing if I share the account with my team?

Only you. Your assistant manages appointments and the daily cash drawer, but never sees your billing or your settlements. Each doctor sees only their own finances. Clinical data, on the other hand, is shared within the practice to enable collaborative patient care.

Is MedicAI up to date for ARCA 2026?

Yes. We've already integrated the transition from AFIP to ARCA (Argentina's tax agency, ex-AFIP): you generate the invoice from MedicAI in one click and the CAE is authorized in seconds, without logging into the government portal. MedicAI is just the facilitator: it uses your CUIT and your certificate to issue only the invoices you choose to issue, and that's exactly what reaches ARCA — the same as if you filed them manually in its portal. Your schedule, your patients, your medical records, and any charges you didn't invoice are never reported to any agency.

Can I collect appointment payments online with Mercado Pago?

Yes. MedicAI integrates Mercado Pago directly into your public booking page. Your patients pay when they book and you receive the payment automatically. Perfect for reducing no-shows and securing your income.

Is MedicAI approved by Argentina's Ministry of Health?

Yes. MedicAI is a platform approved by Argentina's National Ministry of Health in the ReNaPDiS (National Registry of Digital Health Platforms), under registration No. 292, legal entity MEDICAI S.A.S, registration type Recetario (e-prescribing) and HL7 FHIR standard. Is MedicAI an Argentine company?

Yes. MedicAI (medicai.com.ar) is a medical practice management platform built in Argentina, with local support for ARCA/AFIP, health insurers, and Argentine regulations (Ley 25.326 and Ley 26.529). It is not related to “Medicai” (medicai.io), a Romanian medical-imaging (PACS) company: they are different companies and different products.

Does MedicAI offer e-prescriptions?
